Prof Gavin Reid, included on The Analytical Scientist Power List 2020

Bio21's Professor Gavin Reid, School of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology, MDHS has been included on The Analytical Scientist Power List 2020.

The Power List has been published annually by the journal ‘The Analytical Scientist’ since 2013, but each year there are slightly different criteria for the list!

This year they celebrate analytical achievement across the four corners of the globe by featuring 10 leading researchers based on each continent: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia/Oceania. You can see the list on the website

In past years, the 'Power List' has celebrated, for example:

2015:  The Top 100 most influential people

2016:  Top 50 most influential women

2018:  The Fab Forty

"I am delighted to be included in the Analytical Scientist Power List 2020. This recognition highlights the key role that mass spectrometry continues to play in the field of analytical chemistry, and the research that is being done by the talented students, postdocs and staff in my lab at Bio21," said Gavin Reid on being included on the Power List.

It’s wonderful to see Gavin included on this list, recognising his influence and the global impact of his work. Have a read of the profile of Gavin on The Analytical Scientist website.
