Systems and Computational Biology Platform

Bio21 Systems & Computational Biology  Platform (SCBP) team is the resident specialist computing team of the Institute. The team provides specialist computing services to the Institute's management and core platform-technology facilities. They also manage institute-wide computing infrastructures and services, and co-ordinate with central IT services to provide support to all Bio21 members.

Bio21 SCBP team's operations are governed by guidelines from the Institute's SCBP Committee and wider university policies.

Does Bio21 SCBP support you?

We provide computing support to members working in platform technology facilities and Bio21 Management. Our services extend to all members of the Institute in any computing matter related to services provided by our core platform technology facilities.

If you are a member of one of the research groups that came from various departments, faculties or industries to conduct collaborative research here at Bio21, unless your group has a formal support arrangement with Bio21, you will receive basic IT support from central IT services and therefore should contact them for any issues internal to your group.

We can co-ordinate with central IT services to resolve your IT problems beyond your group. If you are unsure about who to contact, we can direct you to the right place.
