The Macromolecular Interactions Facility (MIF)

MIFF Facility, Biochemistry Department is a key platform technology resource in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Bio21 Institute for the biophysical characterisation of proteins and other macromolecules. It offers state-of-the-art instruments for the analysis of protein size, shape, secondary structure, interactions and complex formation, and have been successfully exploited for the study of drug binding, intracellular aggregation processes, nanoparticles and other systems.

Our instruments are open to all researchers (academic or commercial) and appropriate training can be provided. For more information on the instruments and capabilities available, check the MIF website.

For all enquiries, contact the facility manager Dr. Y. Mok: ymok [at] unimelb.edu.au
